Government completes 100 Day Plan

The Government is delivering on its promise of a fresh start for Queensland by successfully completing the ambitious and comprehensive 100-day agenda.

Since Cabinet was sworn-in, the Government has been focused on delivering exactly what it promised Queenslanders - tough action on Labor's Youth Crime Crisis, diagnosing, treating and curing the health system, boosting housing affordability and addressing skyrocketing cost-of-living.

Key deliverables of the 100 Day Plan which have been completed, include:

  • Passing of the Making Queensland Safer Laws, which included introducingAdult Crime, Adult Time, removing detention as a last resort and putting victims' rights before offenders.

  • Boosting Queensland Police resources to deliver stronger and safer communities across the State.

  • Fixing front-line health services through the launch of theOpen Hospitalsportal where Queenslanders can access real-time hospital data, providing transparency to people in need of medical care.

  • Implemented an Energy Maintenance Guarantee and scrapped Labor's $37 billion Pioneer-Burdekin to put downward pressure on electricity prices.

  • Abolishing stamp duty on new homes to give first-home buyers the opportunity to get their foot in the door of the housing market.

  • Establishing the Housing Ministerial Taskforce Cabinet Committee to drive initiatives such as unlocking church and charity land for more community housing.

The Bruce Highway Advisory Council has also been re-established, while the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority is continuing its 100-day review of the Brisbane 2023 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Premier David Crisafulli said the Government was delivering the Fresh Start the state needed and Queenslanders voted for.

“Queenslanders put their trust in us by voting for a Fresh Start and we have hit the ground running to make that happen,” Premier Crisafulli said.

“Delivering on our 100 Day Plan is just the start in delivering a Fresh Start for Queensland.

“I promised we would listen and work tirelessly to deliver on every single commitment we made - which is exactly what we continue to do.

“Our 100 Day Plan set the foundations, and we will continue to deliver more for Queenslanders every single day.”
