Queensland Building Boost

The effects of the Global Financial Crisis are still being felt in some sectors, particularly the housing and construction industries. To assist, and to make it easier for Queenslanders to get into the property market, the government recently launched the Building Boost Grant.

Queenslanders buying or building a new home under $600,000 could be eligible to receive a $10,000 boost – even if it’s an investment property. First time buyers are also eligible for an additional $7,000 through the First Home Owners grant.
